Birthday Sammich and Movie

i dreamt about this sammich for a month. Roast beef with blue cheese on a crusty loaf:


and saw ironman 2 on opening day. an awesome start to the birthday week!

Last Day of Auntie Duties

As jess and the little ones packed up to move to Canada, i went to spend one last day with them. It's amazing how much they've grown! we had a good time at the park:




we read a bunch of books (although i'm not sure how crazy they were of my 10 bears in a bed as read by Christopher Walken):


and jess made me an early birthday dinner: some awesome teppanyaki steak!

met eunice and her friends for food and drinks at En in shiodome. i was riding the poor train so i couldn't do the full par-taying with her but it was great to see her.

A Stroll Through Yokohama

dad and i got to spend a day walking around yokohama and do a little chinatown food tour. check out the steamed buns. the one of the left is HUGE!
