Food with Friends

Yes, there's a lot about food in my blog. fortunately, my best friends are all foodies too which really helps with making the best out of meals. had some fantastic food while i was in HK.

here's H trying to avoid the glare of my camera as we sip our hot drinks. hers was milk tea while i had the ying yang which was a mixture of tea and coffee. not bad!

this was breakfast/brunch. we went to a little local mom and pop place for congee (rice porridge) and pan fried noodles and big soft filled noodles. very very yummy!

got to have stonepot rice this time! here's cor pre meal:

and here he is after massive consumption (i think he's slipping into food coma):

we are smiling but we were ABSOLUTELY EXHAUSTED at this point. it was a big day with lots of walking.

lunch with the friends. The H took me along to have Yum Cha with a bunch of her friends. Yum Cha is always better with a big group of people because we can eat a lot of different dishes. everything we had was so tasty! and the friends were super nice and funny too! This is H and soon-to-be-new-mom Ivy:

the boys (mikey, colin, and kai tai) after they shaved their heads for charity after the dragon boat races:

Lewis, impending super mom teresa, and her hubby tony:

very animated conversation!

and for my final meal, i got to have roasted meats at this little shop near H's place. i LOOOOOVE the food here. it's cheap, fast, and oh-so-good. i love the salty spring onion sauce!!

YUM!!! thanks for taking me to all the de-lish places H!

I would so love to go on a food tour of several Asian countries with you! You are always doing the craziest things - I'm jealous.
