even grandpa's rain soaked tanuki looks shocked.
15 minutes after it stops raining, the mosquitos start to swarm:
one particularly heavy downpour caused a massive power outage. for those of you who down't know Bic Camera, it's one of the largest retail electronics shop in the city. and the idiots at Labi set up a competing massive electronics shop right next door. and yep, neither one of them have lights on. ah, the irony!
people who know me know that i love my granddad even though he makes me nuts. this summer has afforded us plenty of time together (lots of little adventures as my sister would call them).
grandpa is a big fan of this shitty little cafe called Cafe Cats. the room is smoky, the tables and floor are sticky, and they have all this crazy cat paraphrenelia all over the damn place. after we have a short visit with his doc, we ALWAYS have to come here so he can get his cup of coffee and a snack.
like all true members of my family, he is always happiest when he eats.
