cake is my friend. and japan makes some darn cute ones! expensive as hell though.
i am blessed with a lot of foodie friends. but every time i see stuff like this i wish i could send it to my chef friend bethy or to wenyee, the semi-pro dessert chef. i think their love of cake probably rivals mine . . . come visit soon!

I would sooo love to be able to have the patience to decorate a cake like that (although, my probably would taste better due to the lack of bean custard in my fillings...anyway). A child as entertaining as mine draws all of my patience most days.
