humpable art
and performers:
i'm terrified of clowns. i took this picture and ran away.
Tokyo Midtown is one of the latest fashionable architectural high-end shopping areas that opened a couple of years ago. it was soooo crowded when it opened that i never went to check it out (i stay out of the pong as much as possible), so this was my first outing there. i was pleasantly surprised to see all the green:
and art:
they had performers and music and an outdoor "library" where they had readings, etc. a very cool day to spend in the park:
she was so cute. there were heaps of cute kids around.
why do people make their dogs wear clothes? they have BUILT-IN clothes. it's called FUR.
the interior of midtown is just as interesting as the outside. here's a donut/waffle/parfait shop:
this was far and away the COOLEST shop there. it's a VERY EXPENSIVE japanese cofectionary shop called Toraya. they had a bunch of other cool stuff too:
a fruit bar (not gay):
couldn't really figure this one out but it had a cool design. and bad engrish, "we make one year shop!"
LOVE the bread at Maison Kaiser:
the myriad of jars at Dean and Deluca:
cake shop:
at Muji:
Took G to the penis restaurant (AKA Chinese Cafe 8) for an early dinner since she'd never been there before and i was craving xiao long baos (the ones in HK were much better H).
the decor is not subtle here . . .
