joined a bunch of middle aged pervs with telescopic lens cameras in Asakusa to catch the Samba festival.
besides the scantily clad women, there were bands:
it was a very lively parade:

all in all, it was just waaaaaaay too crowded to enjoy myself. i couldn't get in a comfortable position to take good pictures (had a dude's camera bag in my side the entire time).
cut out after a couple hours to head over to Harajuku to have coffee with the gay husband. we chilled out for a while and caught a bit of the yosakoi dancing being held on the stage in front of Meiji shrine:
it was getting a bit late and dark in the afternoon which screwed with my exposure a bit. no, didn't fix if before posting these. sorry!
