met eunice and her friends for food and drinks at En in shiodome. i was riding the poor train so i couldn't do the full par-taying with her but it was great to see her.

A Stroll Through Yokohama


dad and i got to spend a day walking around yokohama and do a little chinatown food tour. check out the steamed buns. the one of the left is HUGE!

Life's a Beach


Took and almost original family trip down to Enoshima in kamaruka.



the air was really nice and clean. it made me glad to be out of the city for a change:

Murakami Madness!

We took a family trip out to Murakami in Niigata to see grandpa on his old stomping grounds. checked into the New Heartopia hotel (a rather lame place but its the only place with handicap facilities in the area):

we visited grandpa's cousins:




murakami is famous for their salmon so we stopped by a famous old salmon shop:


and got the tour:




it was pretty impressive:




we decided to enjoy local foods at this nice little restaurant that the salmon shop people recommended to us:
